The Jr. Blazers had two contrasting games this weekend and both were battles to the end. Their first game was against the Jersey Wildcats who, despite being in last place, have played the Blazers extremely tough and everyone as of late. Their Sunday game was against the first place Metro Moose who the Blazers have had three previous close games with including a heartbreaking 8-7 last second loss. Both games would prove to be tough for the Blazers with the main story of the weekend being the goaltending of Matt Petitti and Andrew Hieber. Both would play extremely well and continually stymie the other team.
